Child poverty

The Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia (MODS), of which CIP-Center for Interactive Pedagogy is a member, talks about child poverty as a complex problem that demands the response of different systems. To minimize the effects of child poverty and help every child realize her or his full potential, adequate financial support to families, health protection, inclusive education and protection services from birth to adulthood must be accessible.

Friendship Games on Kopaonik Mountain Ended on Sunday With a Lovely Closing Ceremony

After four great days on Kopanik mountain, "Friendship Games" camp ended on Sunday with a lovely closing ceremony. All the kids got some nice presents, "thank you" letters and diplomas, which made them very happy. "Novak Đoković" Foundation organized this event for more than 50 children, aged seven to 10 from three rural primary schools, from Knić, Ljig and Raška municipalities. From 3-6th October they were able to meet and socialize, acquire new skills, play and create together, and to learn through numerous art and creative workshops, games and group activities.

Novak Đoković opened the first “School of Life” in Kadina Luka, a village near the Municipality of Ljig on September 16, 2013. Novak Đoković Foundation in cooperation with preschool, school and local government and with the professional support of CIP- Center for Interactive Pedagogy, refurbished and equipped the facility in which children aged 3 - 5 years will play, learn and spend quality time together with their teachers and parents. The newly formed group of the preschool institution “Kaja” enrolled children who had never had the opportunity to attend pre-school program.  Also, children who attend school in the same building now enjoy a much better learning environment.
